What's your career story? It's a question that can be hard to answer. After all, your career is more than what you do for a living - It's a reflection of who you are and how you got to where you are today. So, how do you tell your career story? It can be tricky, but it's worth taking the time to figure it out. The [MyCareerStory app](https://www.mycareerstory.io) can help you tell your Career Story and can help you manage those stories when you are actively looking for work, and more importantly, keep track of them as they happen. We start by considering the Moment that Matters. A Moment That Matters (MTM) is a **transformative** snippet of time where you do something that makes a **lasting emotional impression** on **how you feel** and your **relationships.**

Moments that Matter are critical in the **employee experience**, **customer journey** and **career progression**. They can be **intentionally crafted** or **spontaneously happen**.

A Career MTM is an inflection or pivot point in your work experience that *results* in **success** or **failure**. It is usually accompanied by significant **change** or **transition**, **challenge** or **opportunity**, the **building** or **collapse** of vital relationships, and **creative** or **destructive** stress.
